Our Food Pyramid

Room 9 cut out pictures of food and sorted the pictures into 3 groups.  We talked about eating lots of vegetables and fruit and grains.  Then we sorted eat some food like meat and dairy food.  Last we sorted eat little food like cakes, lollies and chips. Eating this way will make you smart and healthy.

Needs and wants

Wants are things that you might want but not really need like-- chocolate, cotton candy, ice cream, M&Ms, jelly beans, ice blocks, marshmallows and more.

Needs are things that help us with our well- being like-- water, vegetables, fruits, milo, bread, meat, fish, eggs, milk and more.
